Applicants wishing to participate in the additional admission round must submit the following application documents:
- Application form;
- Declaration of consent for the processing of personal data;
- Health status declaration;
- Passport-sized photographs – 4 copies;
- Passport or national ID card;
- Secondary education diploma;
- Document confirming eligibility for higher education admission in the country where the secondary education was obtained;
- Notarized power of attorney, in case the applicant does not submit the documents in person; Foreign documents must be legalized/apostilled and accompanied by a notarized translation into Bulgarian.
- Certificate from NACID (National Centre for Information and Documentation) recognizing the secondary education and equating the grades to the Bulgarian grading system;
- Proof of payment of fees for entrance exams and document processing – 450 EUR.

- via courier to the foreign student’s admission experts.
Period for submitting the documents: between 29.09.2026, and 02.10.2026.
Entrance exams are to be held 06.10.2026, according to the following schedule:
- 10:00 AM EEST (UTC +3 hours) – Biology exam. The candidate should take their seat at 9:30 AM
- 1:00 PM EEST (UTC +3 hours) – Chemistry exam. The candidate should take their seat at 12:30 PM
- 3:00 PM EEST (UTC +3 hours) – English language exam (for candidates whose official language is not English and who have not submitted a language proficiency certificate). The candidate should take their seat at 2:30 PM
Candidates who have not taken the entrance exams at Burgas State University can submit:
- An official statement of grades in Biology and Chemistry from entrance exams taken at a Bulgarian university during the current admissions cycle;
- An official statement of grades in English from entrance exams taken at a Bulgarian university during the current admissions cycle, or a document proving English language proficiency at level B1 (for candidates whose official language is not English);
- Proof of payment of the application processing fee – 150 EUR.
