Functions

The Control Board (CB) is the body responsible for internal control over the activities of Burgas State University "Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov".

  • Verifies the legality of the elections for the governing bodies of the university and its main structural units within one month of their completion and reports the results of the review to the Academic Council (AC);
  • Prepares an opinion on the draft university budget and its implementation and presents it to the Academic Council (AC) and the General Assembly (GA);
  • Participates in inspections under Article 58a of the Higher Education Act (HEA);
  • Reports on its activities to the General Assembly (GA) at least once a year.
