Announcement for publication on the BSU website
On the basis of an order of the Rector of BSU (No. UD – 443/ 09.10.2025) Burgas State University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”
ANNOUNCES
- Additional acceptance of application documents in the specialty “Medicine”, training in English for citizens of the EU, EEA and dual citizens in the period 09.10.2025 – 13.10.2025, until 16:00.
The required documents are:
- Application form
- Declaration of consent for the processing of personal data
- Declaration of health status
- Passport photos – 4 pcs.
- Passport or ID card
- Secondary education diploma
- Letter of eligibility to study at a higher education institution in the country where secondary education was acquired
- Notarized power of attorney, in case the applicant does not submit their documents in person
Foreign documents must be legalized / apostilled and with a notarized translation into Bulgarian.
- Certificate from the Regional Department of Education for recognition of secondary education and equivalence of grades to the Bulgarian grading system;
- Document for paid administrative fees:
- Document processing fee - 150 euros
- Biology exam fee - 150 euros
- Chemistry exam fee - 150 euros

II. Online entrance exams in Biology in English, Chemistry in English and English Proficiency Test on 14.10.2025.
Biology – start time is 10 am EEST (UTC +3 hours). The candidate should take their seat at 9:30 am (UTC +3 hours)
Chemistry – start time is 1 pm EEST (UTC +3 hours). The candidate should take their seat at 12:30 pm EEST (UTC +3 hours)
English Language Diagnostic test - start time is 3 pm EEST (UTC +3 hours). The candidate should take their seat at 2:30 pm EEST (UTC +3 hours)
Candidates must be online 30 minutes before the start of each exam.
Links to access the exam platform and the platform for quaestor monitoring will be provided by email on 13.10.2025.
Successful candidates will be notified of their admission by 4:00 pm on 15.10.2025.
Deadline for registration: 17.10.2025. Registration is carried out on a "first come, first served" basis, with the date of receipt of the semester fee in the BSU account being decisive.
