On the basis of an order of the Rector of BSU (No. UD – 414 / 29.09.2025), Burgas State University “Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov” is announcing additional acceptance of application documents in the specialty “Medicine”, training in English:

  • For third-country nationals in the period 30.09.2025, until 12:00 p.m.
  • For EU, EEA and dual citizens in the period 30.09.2025 – 01.10.2025, until 16:00 p.m.

The required documents are:

  1. Application form
  2. Declaration of consent for the processing of personal data
  3. Declaration of health status
  4. Passport photos – 4 pcs.
  5. Passport or ID card
  6. Secondary education diploma
  7. Document of eligibility to apply to a higher education institution in the country where secondary education was acquired
  8. Notarized power of attorney, in case the applicant does not submit his/her documents in person

Foreign documents must be legalized / apostilled and with a notarized translation into Bulgarian.

  1. Certificate from the Education and Training Authority for recognition of secondary education and equivalence of grades to the Bulgarian grading system;
  2. Official note with grades in biology and chemistry from entrance exams in English at a Bulgarian university from the current admission campaign;
  3. Official note with grades in English from entrance exams at a Bulgarian university during the current admission campaign or a document proving proficiency in English at level B1.
  4. Document for paid administrative fee of 150 euros.

Minimum score for enrollment – ​​24 (twenty-four)

Deadline for enrollment: 03.10.2025

Enrollment is carried out on a "first come, first served" basis, with the date of receipt of the semester fee in the BDU account being decisive.
