Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov University - Burgas started its work as a partner in the BSB00091/AlgaeRevive project "Harnessing the power of algae for pollution reduction and blue growth", co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme. The project will be implemented under the leadership of the Via Pontica Foundation – lead partner and partners from Georgia (Tsotne Mirtskhulava Water Management Institute of the Georgian Technical University), Ukraine (Odesa State Agrarian University), Greece (Greek Agricultural Organization “Dimitra”), and Romania (Ovidius University of Constanța).

The project started in early September 2024 and will continue for 30 months until March 2027.

Total budget: 1.470.899,04 Euros

EU funding: 1.323.809,13 Euros
